How to install the smargo driver on Linux (debian) server

    Does anybody have an idiots guide to install the smargo driver on Linux (debian) server.


    It does not make it clear how to do this in the Smargo tutorial.

    Not tried this myself, but let us know if it helps.

    apt-get install opensc pcscd libccid

    nano /etc/opensc/opensc.conf


    And change this line by removing # from start

    reader_drivers = pcsc, ctapi;try_emulation_first = yes;lock_login = false;


    Press ctrl+o and enter, then ctrl+x to exit

    opensc-tool --list-readers


    You should see your reader info present like so. Example;

    if i ftp to make the folder, it says Create directory operation failed.
