    tvh0 (dvbapi) connects & decrypts ok,

    obox connects but produces this

    Code
    2013/03/25 10:30:36 8F421700 c obox (0963&000000/C5CB/65:25D0): invalid (0 ms) (of 0 avail 0) (invalid SID)

    After pulling an all nighter, I've eventuallyy worked out that the N:line is missing, but where should it be located ? no sign of it in /usr or /var

    so... can anyone tell me where the cccam.conf is located ???
    also , do I need four distinct users for the quad tuner card ???

    Any help would be much appreciated,

    Ian

  • Post your oscam configs with all the sensitive bits hashed out. Without your config, it could be anybodies guess what the problem is.

  • Hi mate/ thanks for response, logs as requested

    cccam.conf ... on OPENBOX

    Code
    C:192.168.1.100 obox obox 12000

    TIA
    Ian

  • Dvapi does not work on a pc server so ive been told anyway i have no idea what cs357x is sorry as far as iam aware all you really need is newcamd and cccam, your cfg should be in var/etc on your pc server if i remember correctly.This is where you should be setting up your nline and f-line to feed the satellite receiver/peers i have to say your setup is far different to anything ive ever seen perhaps someone else can also advise. How many cards are you running off your pc etc

  • @AndyRay.... thanks for speedy response card is quad tuner PciE TBS 6984 in same pc as oscam , omnikey 3121 USB,

    .................the card is for streaming to local xbmc clients thru TVheadend (server) ((on same pc)) DVB api is working ok problems arise when the oscam/cardserver is on a different machine,

    regards
    Ian

  • Oh i see that's one hell of a setup you have ive only got experience of what i would call a normal setup i hope you get the answers you need from someone else Ian

  • Firstly i would recommend you update to newer version of OSCam, the one you are using is ancient.

    Code
    http://download.oscam.cc/index.php

    Try these settings.

    The Box ID isn't needed anymore with newer versions of OSCam, It figures it out for itself. I think the version you are using also works it out too, so the box key is not needed. If it doesn't clear the premium channels you either need to update OSCam or put the box key back in (Reader only)

    Code
    [account]
    user                          = obox
    pwd                           = obox
    description                   = OpenBox
    group                         = 1,2
    services                      = *** digital (uk)
    caid                          = 0963
    cccmaxhops                    = 1
    cccreshare                    = 0
