The attached plugin CopyMedia copies media files of types DVD, mpeg1 and 2, mp4, mp3, divx, wmv etc from a server (for example pc) to dreambox hdd/usb/cf in the mpeg .ts format. The copied files can then be played directly in the dreambox without server.
Requires vlc 1.1.4 opened on server. May also work ok with other vlc versions.
The copied file has the original file name with extension.ts added to the end.
When a source file is selected - copying and playback starts - and continues after exit from the plugin.
To stop playback - press TV. Copying will stop automatically. But to stop it before the end - start the plugin again and select "Yes" to delete.
Check that the dreambox copy folder exists and it has enough space for the media !
Note:- This plugin does NOT require plugin
VlcPlayer to be installed.
