    my server ubuntu 12.10 64BIT work fine in tel i reboot it i have the problome with network configuration no ip address for my server if igo to


    sudo nano /etc/network/interfaces i see evrry think all configuration :



    auto eth0
    iface eth0 inet static
    address 192.168.0.**
    netmask 255.255.***.*
    network 192.168.*.*
    broadcast 192.168.*.***
    gateway 192.168.*.***



    what cosing this problem plz help ?

    When i used to run an ubuntu server i personally found that using a static address was more trouble than it was worth i reinstalled ubuntu and left it as normal,i actually found that the ip address always stayed the same anyway.here is some info on how to change to dchp http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1663842 i would recommend you do so and you problem should go away.
