problem connecting with winscp out of network ........?

  • If you want to connect to your server from outside of your network with WinSCP or PuttyYou will have to forward ports 21 & 22 in your router to the cccam server's IP Address. People will advise you never for open these ports on your router but it is your choice.. I do it all the time, but I do not open ports 21 & 22, I open random ports e.g. 11121 & 11122 & forward them to ports 21 & 22.. Also m8, you will have to make sure you have a static external IP address or a dynamic dns acc updating regularly.. Also, I have a tomato router with a firewall, make sure you are secured before you do this.. I get about 100 attempted hacks per hour on my router from China & Russia etc. so make sure you have iptables or similar set up..
