Hi all im slowly learning so please be gentle lol. Iv got my dm 500 set up with my mates server running but iv noticed a few channels missing like the aka music channel on sly i know its only a fta channel but im pretty sure im missing more.My sat position is at astra/eurobird(28.2e) aall help welcome

You could find the transponder its on and scan manually!!

i got it and loads of other channels i didnt have before, this is how.setup-service searching-satellites configuration and then i changed the one single satellite to 2 satellites via toneburst and 1 is Astra/eurobird(28.2e) and 2 is astra 2A/2B/2D/EUROBIRD 1(28.2E) Not sure what i done can someone explain and i noticed i got 2 of every channel but the ones i was missing i got 1 of

I would use a latest channel list that has favourites already setup for you.
You will need dreamset or dreamboxedit to upload the channel lists.
I recommend either sgtflipflop or silverfox0786 they are the most popular for 28.2 east.
Have a look in your settings for disable background scanning, this will stop finding duplicate channels. -
iv got dreamboxedit and know how to make my own bouquets but dont understand how to add someone elses or wher to get them from and i cant find wher to turn of duplicate channels
