oh dear, loaded latest, flash only ,and now blue screeen and it says, ash on the front???????

rs232 lead required, to unlock receiver out of ash mode,. best not to flash in first place,.
You will need a Null modem cable to communicate with the box. A valid flash file. Patients it may take awhile. :)

The trouble with this boxes is that when you are trying to upgrade firmware the default comes up with 'Firmware upgrade' which leads to ASH you need to choose the option 'Total flash'.
The firmware I uploaded is the perfect update to use when using the serial recovery software using the ALL CHUNK method, it will return your Optibox Spider HD back to a fully working order. Also uploaded the serial loader and pdf instruction.
