Nbox 5800sx "tune failed"

    I have had this nbox for a few months now not had any problems until now it says "TUNE FAILED" only on HD channels

    Which channels mate, and which satellite.


    Various providers move things around. I know $ky have recently moved channels around. Have you tried doing a re-scan?

    i update my own channel list mate its up to date and im watching *** uk all hd channels are showing tune failed not just a few
    maybe the tuner is gone?

    I would check the dish alignment first, and failing that i would try another receiver so you can rule out the cables and lnb before writing off the receiver.

    There are some capacitors in the main board and in the tuner board that most be changed. Open the cover and look for capacitors with loops (fat capaciotrs )
