Softcam.Key file

Hi all,

I got myself one of these Amiko Alien 2 triple tuner receivers a few weeks back and I'm pretty impressed with it.
But I seem to have a problem getting pics through CCcam with a Softcam.Key file.
I ftp-ed a Softcam.Key file to root/plugin/var/keys. This file seems to work fine with Dreamboxes but for some reason doesn't open up pics.
Has anyone else had success with Softcam.Key files on their Amiko?
Or alternatively can someone show me an alternative way to make details work on an Amiko?

I guess as a last resort I can put E2 firmware on this receiver and try it that way.

The table I have here shows both CCcam and Mgcamd use Softcam.Key file
Any suggestions as on how to make it work on the Alien 2?

Found this that shows both emu's use that file

CCcam:
Keys Directory: /var/keys – Softcam.Key, AutoRoll.key & constant.cw
Program Files: /var/bin – CCcam, capmtserver
Config Files: /var/etc – CCcam.cfg
AU Files: /var/keys – Autoroll.key
