Satellite motor bracket required

    Hi again all, being bank holiday decided to put my motorised dish back up, haven't used in years since hous move!
    Long story short, got cables run bracket up etc, but problem I have is the bracket that attaches the motor to the pole was well rusty and bolts just sheared off, my dish motor pole etc are fine just need bracket and struggling to find supplier of this bracket, anyone any idea of where can purchase this?may just be am searching for wrong thing with wording? It's of a sg-2100a motor

    How typical is that. If you would have asked a few weeks ago i could have helped you out. I threw away a failed FortecStar motor about a week ago which was identical to the SG2100a. The bracket and all the u bolts were fine and in really good condition.


    It may be worth asking in the wanted section on here and other satellite forums, or failing that eBay may be a good bet.

    Hi mate thanks for reply, not sure how good bracket is think been bit twisted when tightened that many times is just dish doesn't look as square as thought should when pointing south? Will play round with bracket if carnt get right lol
    I think it's at least 90cm maybe 100cm

    dish wont be looking square if its not a something like thor close to 0 degrees the further you go the dish cocks over to the arc each was even at 28.2 it looks like you put it up wrong my neighbour told me i needed to sraighten mine up .

    if your motor is at 0 degrees yes all square and no skew on the lnb you should be able to get it close looking at the casting mark on the stub , for what they cost today you might be better just getting a tm-2600 new as by the sounds of things you are going to have hell in high winds if your using a make shift bracket ,there is nothing worse than losing picture in the middle of a football match :beated:

    Thanks for all replies and suggestions, bit bullet and got new motor £35 and quad lnb £15, fitted today and went better than expected, all working from 30 west to 42 east, don't think need much else carnt believe all channels got back lot of memories too lol
    Regretting not having put motor back up earlier now! Just waiting for new gigablue quad to arrive and might be one happy bunny!
