Police catch card sharing pirate in Lyon

    Police in the French city of Lyon have arrested a 35-year old man in connection with a cardsharing ring.


    According to local magazine Lyonmag the arrest was made earlier this week after Canal+ filed complaints about the man’s illegal activtied.


    The man was selling the Canal+ channels for a yearly fee of EUR80.


    The man was indicted for “selling fraudulent means to watch television channels”, concealment, breach of trust and fraud. He was then placed under judicial supervision. A dozen other people, including suppliers, were arrested in the Lyon region. The police that the man eaerned about EUR10,000 with the scheme.
