It will need to be installed on both your and friends PC, connect to his PC via teamviewer then use VUCC that`s installed on his pc..

You need to open FTP port 21 in his router, then use an FTP tool like filezilla to connect to the solo2..

If he doesn`t have a static external ip address you will need to setup a dynamic dns address and configure the router with these details..

If you choose to do this make sure you have a strong password on his solo2, changing the default FTP port 21 to something less obvious would also be a good idea..
