lock "inpu/output error"

Hi,

I am hoping someone can help me. I have just tried installing a plugin on mu Vu+ Duo running Blackhole 2.0.1 rev. A, but I am getting an error stating:

*opkg_conf_load: Could not create lock file /var/lib/opkg/lock: Input/output error.

When I ftp to that folder there is no lock gile, but when I use putty and browse to the folder, and then do an ls, it shows the contents of the folder, but the first line states:
ls: ./lock: Input/output error

I am unable to rm the file or to run opkg update as these give the same error.

Does anyone have any hints?

Just found out this weekend that I cannot upgrade TS Panel due to the same issue :( I did ha check disk for my hard drive, but that didn't find anything. I assume this file is on the HDD and not the ROM.

Any ideas anyone?? please... :)
