Ubuntu and smargo reader with CCcam

    Hi people! i just recieved my smargo and need to set it up with my Ubuntu server! Im soon to add a local adult viaccess card to it! I know how to configure the CCcam.cfg! But do i just plug in the smargo and reboot? Or it there any files i need to download and install to make it work? Thanks in advance for all that can point me in the right direction!

    just install and reboot with your card in it, im not sure it will be recognized without the card, you will also need to add a line like this to your cccam.cfg SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyUSB0 smartreader+ you may need to change this to USB1 or USB2 etc.


    I had to plug my smargo into a powered usb hub before my pc would recognise it, for some strange reason it wouldnt work when i plugged it directly into the pc.
