  • Hi people! i just recieved my smargo and need to set it up with my Ubuntu server! Im soon to add a local adult viaccess card to it! I know how to configure the CCcam.cfg! But do i just plug in the smargo and reboot? Or it there any files i need to download and install to make it work? Thanks in advance for all that can point me in the right direction!

  • just install and reboot with your card in it, im not sure it will be recognized without the card, you will also need to add a line like this to your cccam.cfg SERIAL READER : /dev/ttyUSB0 smartreader+ you may need to change this to USB1 or USB2 etc.

I had to plug my smargo into a powered usb hub before my pc would recognise it, for some strange reason it wouldnt work when i plugged it directly into the pc.
