  • Hi guys, I'm running the latest version of VIX on the solo 2 and was wondering if its possible to mount a networked drive?

For example I want to connect to the C: drive on my laptop to access films, mp3s etc.

I've fiddled around with the mount management stuff but can't seem to get it working. Has anyone got any idea if this is possible and if so, how? Or if its already been covered point me in the right direction?

    Thanks

  • You can do this so long as you are allowing this to be shared in windows. First of all, go to your network settings and install samba, then you need to go to network browser, browse the network, and you should see the windows share.

I haven't got my receiver that has ViX installed to direct you more with regards to the exact location of the settings you need to access, but it is simple enough to find them in the menus.

If I take a while to respond, you can see why.....
