Question: Running 2X dual inputs to 2 sats?

    Hi intend to buy a Duo2 with the 2 dual tuners config, So it will be 2X S2 Dual tuners.


    At home I have 2 dishes
    1X motorised (with Dual Inverto Black)
    1X fixed pointing at 28.2 (standard *** dual LNB)


    My question is will I be able to plug all 4 inputs running off 2 dishes into the Duo2 and will the box know what to do if I'm recording on the motorised and I want to switch to 28.2 encrypted chan.


    My other option would be to get a quad LNB for the motorised or fixed sat and use jut one but this would limit what I watch to what sat I'm currently recording from.



    My goal would be to be able to record 2 programmes on 19.2 , another on 28.2 and watch something else on 28.2


    has anyone ever experimented with a setup like this?

    yes you should be able to use all 4 tuners as described without any problems that i can think of, just remember that the second feed from the motorised dish needs to be set as second feed from a motorised dish in the tuner setup page.
