use mobile phone data

I was wondering if it was possible to use the mobile data from my phone by plugging it into the usb to get the internet on my alien 2?

You would be better with with a wifi adapter and a 3 mifi router if you intend to use it without broadband have used openbox this way at our caravan worked perfectly
