Rat's Picon Updater Plugin Support

Can someone help me with installing this updater to my latest VTI image.
Will I need any other software apart from filezilla. And can I install this using a Linux operating system.

You need an FTP program like filezilla and a telnet / ssh client like putty..

FTP the attached file to /tmp then paste the following command in putty and press enter..

opkg install -force-overwrite /tmp/enigma2-plugin-extensions-rats-picons_1.0_all.ipk

File tested and working on BlackHole 2.0.4..

Hi there M8.
Please could you help me with Rat's picon install?
I know how to ftp with filezilla; But I have not got a clue on the putty software.
Is there another software to send the command to my box?
I am using both linux and windows 7 operating systems.
If you could give me the name of the software to use for windows 7 and how to use it.

DCC-E2 Dreambox Control Center will do both FTP and Telnet..

FTP the attached file to /tmp..

On the left panel you have an option for telnet, click it and paste in the command above, press enter.
