    VU+ Solo USB Flash Process


    ✅ Preparation

    • USB Drive: Formatted to FAT32
    • Image File: Downloaded USB version of desired firmware (unzipped/unrar’ed)


    📂 Step 1 — Folder Setup

    1. Insert USB drive into your computer
    2. Create a main folder named: vuplus
    3. Inside vuplus, create a subfolder named: solo


    ⬇️ Step 2 — Copy Firmware Files

    1. Unpack the downloaded image
    2. Copy these 3 essential files to the solo folder:
      • boot.bin
      • kernel_cfe_auto.bin (or similar kernel file)
      • root_cfe_auto.jffs2 (or similar root file)


    🔧 Step 3 — Start Flashing

    1. Insert USB into front USB port of VU+ Solo
    2. Press and hold the reset button on the rear
    3. Power on the VU+ Solo (if not already on)

    🔄 Step 5 — Final Boot

    1. Press rear reset button again (short press)
    2. VU+ Solo will reboot into Enigma2 setup process
    3. Follow on-screen setup instructions


    ⚠️ Important Notes

    • Do not remove USB or power off during flashing
    • Ensure correct file transfer — only the 3 required files in /vuplus/solo/
    • If process fails, re-format USB to FAT32 and restart from Step 1


    📝 Summary

    1. Format USB → create /vuplus/solo folders
    2. Copy 3 firmware files to /solo
    3. Insert USB → hold reset → power on
    4. Wait for standby LED green
    5. Press reset to boot into setup
