i need some advice
i want to know what size dish to buy i want to pick finnish tv for the wife think its on THOR and usual footie sats etc etc im in the north west bpool
i would like to get a Gibertini dish as ive been they are a good dish

Well you said you want to be able to get thor? that's on 0.8w, if you read down the guide you will see it recommends a 1 m dish, which is what you are going for.

0.8w should be fine with 1m, also possibly stuff on 4.8e but its marginal in bad weather here in North liverpool / Southport on a 1m dish (56%) , id say 1.1 minimum ?

I live in the Midlands and use a 1.25m Gibertini dish
Just checked on channel TV 2 PL1 HD and Have 68 % SNR
Not bad
I'm in Carnforth and get 0.8 West, no problem - just make sure that you have clear line of sight to the South - hope the tower doesn't block your view !!!! LoL
