dead slybox f5

hi all ive got a ***box f5 to to fix, when I turn it on it loads up and stops at L100 nothing come up on the tv and it will not let me do nothing with the remote, do I need to flash it using rs232 to bring it back to life?

That will be the best thing to do or you are not going to get it out the loop nothing else will clear it
