Hi Everyone
Got my openbox up and running entered cccam.cfg with no problems just a quick question can i use either flipflop or silverfox on this box or is that a no no or do i have to input the bouquets and channel lists manualy not happy with the one's installed.

Hi, unfortunately you can only use the channel list that is on your box or use one that is uploaded here on this site. You can of course make one to suit your needs with the channel editor on this site.
You cant use bouqets from silverfox or flipflop.
There are channel lists and editors here Openbox Software and Tools

To install this channel list, simply transfer the unzipped channel list to a USB Stick, and then insert the USB Stick into the USB port, which is located on the rear of the receiver, then follow the instructions below.
Click Menu -> Tools -> Upgrade By USB, then in 'Upgrade Mode' select 'Misc Files'
then click on 'Select & Upgrade' and select OPTION 1 [TP_PROG] now click the OK button,
when you see a check mark or tick next to the TP_PROG, click the yellow button to install.
Once the file have been installed, reboot the receiver.
hooley sorry about the delay but followed your instructions but it did not work, went into info and it said could not find the file TP_Prog
also just checked my memory stick and another folder has appeared pvrss2 any idea what that is
Ill be home in an hour and ill go through it again on my box, i cant think off the top of my head what the process is. Just try putting the file that ends in .dbs on your usb, its in the TP_PROG folder and go through the process
Ok, menu tools upgrade by USB , change upgrade mode to misc files then go down to select and upgrade and press green button on tp-prog.DBS and press yellow button to upgrade and then reboot the box when it's finished.

How do you mean the info button? You shouldnt have to press the info button.
Once its uploaded it says check info button so when i press it at the side of the TP file it says file not found, only why i press it because the file is not there when ti says it uploaded.

Have you used this USB key with the box before ? Have you unzipped the file before you put it on the USB
no this is the first time with the usb on the openbox but used the usb on my vu and i unzipped the file.
how long should it take to upload to the box becuse when i did it only took second or two seemed quick.

Maybe try formatting the usb to the box, you can do this in the menu, It should take a few seconds alright to load the channel list.
