  • Hi, ive just purchased a technomate tm-2t and im not having a lot of luck getting everything working. Ive managed to get cccam installed ok but cant seem to get all the channels I got on my old ***box f5. Ive got all my username pass ect but think I must be doing something wrong when it comes to editing the cccam.cfg. This is all new to me so if anyone can help that would be great. Thanks

  • Im not sure what DCC is to be honest, ive been using filezilla to ftp. Im not sure on exactly how to input my line details. There just on a bit of paper at the mo saying host, port, user, pass. Ive tried following a few guides to edit my cccam.cfg but must be doing something wrong. Sorry if im not explaining myself very well. Been trying for a few days to figure it out and brain has gone into overload! Thanks for the quick reply

    Just like this:

    C: host port user pass

    e.g

    C: alfcapone.dyndns 12000 username password

    Enter that to any blank line in the cfg file also be sure you have disconnected the f5 box from the internet as the line wont work in both at the same time.

  • Yea that's how id done it after looking on here. Ive just tried it again but still only get a black screen when I go on any of the channels that should be working. The normal channels work fine. Just cant figure out what im doing wrong. Is there anyway I can test if cccam is working? I just did a scan for all the channels when I first got the box, then installed cccam. Am I missing something out that I need to do? Thanks

    1st Make sure Cccam is activated
    thento check server is active
    type in webrowser -> h**p://yourboxsIP:16001/servers

    If my post helps hit the Thanks ;-)

  • Ok ive checked and it shows 1 server connection but still not getting all the channels. In the box under where it says connected its just blank. When I got the new box I just scanned to find the channels so not sure if I need to get a special channel list or if they should just work now. On my old ***box f5 it used to say scrambled when a channel wouldn't work but on the technomate tm-t2 its just a black screen. If you need anymore info ive missed out just let me know. Thanks

  • All the channels should be working like they were in my old f5 so I must be doing something wrong. Hope someone can figure out how to help as I just seem to be getting more confused the more I try to figure it out. Information overload!

  • I know the server must be working as all the channels work fine on my old F5 box so must be something im doing wrong. Its all new to me so im sure I must be doing something wrong, when I go into menu/setup/softcam/cccam and then servers its got a red light next to the servers name so im guessing that means its not connecting but like I said the server is working fine on my other box. Is there any other program I could try thats like cccam? Thanks

  • Just done a bit more reading and thinking what I have is a nline not a cline so maybe thats why its not working. I got my host, port, user, pass on a print out so assumed I just made a cline with them but now it looks like it should be a nline so can I get a prog called MGcamd? Anyone got any ideas?

  • Thanks, put the nline in cccam and all working now! Any idea where I find setanta Ireland? It was on my old f5 box but cant see it on here. Do I need to get a channel list from somewhere? Also whats the best epg/tv guide for setting stuff to record. Appreciate all the help guys

    Try catseyes or do a manual scan of 28e and youll find it in last scanned then when its highlight press menu and add it to the bouquet you want it in , then it will be at the end of that list press menu again and enable move mode move it and disable move mode your done
