Best tuner for weak signals?

    I'm wondering about buying a VU+Solo2.


    Now i have a DM800se and a DM800hd.


    The DM800hd has a poor tuner but the DM800se has a fantastic tuner.


    My question is, wich of receivers has the best tuner, Vu+Solo2 or Dm800se?

    Just remember there are a few different tuners that work with the DM800se, so that question can be answered in several ways dependent on which tuner you are using.


    To be honest i would look at the lnb before the tuner. What you may lose with tuner sensitivity you may gain with using something like an Inverto Ultra lnb.


    A bigger dish would be even better, but i'm sure your probably already well aware of that.

    My Tuner is a BCM4505.


    I already have a big antenna (1.80m) and a good LNB.


    As I live in southwest Europe i am at the limit for some 28ºE transponders and i don' wanna lose some channels if i buy a VU+Solo2.
