  • Hi Guys,

strange thing keeps happening with my vu duo+ -

I will be watching stb at night and will leave on one of the FTA channels on 28.2 East when i go to turn tv on in the morning i find that satellite has moved to another position black screen and crossepg is stuck and no buttons on remote will do anything so have to turn off at rear of stb ???
    All very strange !!!

  • have you tried running a manual scan of crossepg to see if it is working? - In the past i have set up timers to reboot my receiver to standby after the nightly crossepg scan - perhaps this might help.

If I take a while to respond, you can see why.....

  • Well that explains why the dish has moved from 28 to 13 when you check in the morning, when it moves to 13 it would need to lock on to a FTA channel or one that you have a card or share for, this will let crossepg tune to the feed to be able to update itself. If it's not doing this then I would imagine that's the reason that you are seeing a black screen and the box has froze.

  • ok couple of things, what providers are you using to update on 28 & 13, one thing I would check is in the main menu for crossepg you will see a option for "providers start order" in here check which provider is set to update first, if it is 28 and then 13 try changing them round.
