  • Folks, the HD judder problem is getting on my nerves, i have been reading over on another form that replacing the capacitors in the box will fix the issue.
here is a list of the capacitors:
    Change on mainboard capacitors:
    C270 - 470uF/16V
    C271 - 470uF/16V
    C272 - 470uF/16V
    C273 - 470uF/16V
    C541 - 1500uF/16V
    C122 - 1000uF/16V
    C518 - 1000uF/16V

    and on tuner (small board)

    C96 - 470uF/16V
    C112 - 470uF/16V
    C113 - 470uF/16V
    C97 - 1000uF/16V
    C95 - 1000uF/16V

this was advised by user: Euro-Trans, he is the guy i purchased my box off of so i would expect that he knows what he is talking about.
my question is , has any done this and fixed the issue?
Lot of hassle if it doesnt!!

  • Well I had a problem with my 5800sx but it was related with pixelled image and a whisling sound coming from the board.
I replaced all those capaciotrs and both problems disappeared.

  • I got my receiver off the same bloke, and as far as I know he replaces these as part of the modification. As we all know now the juddering in most cases was probably a software issue of which there is now a fix. I feel sorry for all those who spent the time and money replacing these when they just needed to wait for a driver fix!

If I take a while to respond, you can see why.....

  • use player by j00zek the oryginal one, working best.

only all sh4 platforms been affected with that diffrent compression method.

    if u want to replace
    C270 - 470uF/16V
    C271 - 470uF/16V
    C272 - 470uF/16V
    C273 - 470uF/16V

    put 680uF instead of 470uF
