    you always have the option of editing existing picons by changing the filename to match the service reference of the channel you want it to correspond to (take a look at the existing files to get an idea of the format that is required). If there are a lot of provider changes, then this can be tedious work, so you need to bear with those who create and update picon packs, because they probably have jobs and families and do it in their spare time.
