Could be any number of reasons, such as a incompatible plugin, or a problem with the image it self.

p.s you did not list the image your using unless it's ATV as indicated by the details on the left ??.

Best thing to do reflash the receiver and setup from scratch, then activate logs / debug logs etc in case this happens again.

if your using ATV then it should be similar to ViX as ATV is part of the OE-Allinance. look in menu> setup> system> logs> settings. choose any where but the HDD as debug logs will prevent the HDD from sleeping.
