Lol i know what you mean but for the amount of time i spend on msn group chat virtual box will do the job, every other program i used in windows i think i have already found the linux equivalent, been dual booting between the 2 for ages but virtualbox removed the need for that.

My latest venture into Linux. Have now installed XBMC into Ubuntu and now I can retire to the PC and watch something different, if the Dear Wife is watching one of her programs, (NOT! I might add "Soaps") we are both past that type of rubbish.
btw, XBMC is available for Windows as well. -

I'd say that depends on what you want to achieve.
I use VMWare at work, and in a corporate environment it's fine. However for my personal needs I've always used VirtualBox, and it's what I always install for private clients who still need to use the odd Windows app when they have switched to Linux. -
