how to use modern oscam patch

Hi ten sory for silly question :) peter here i was wondering how or please can you point me in the right direction to a better understanding on how to use mordern patch do i use term or putty or is there a guide as to commands please .hope to here from you peter:green:

thanks ten ill have a go i have got the modern tpl ver working and edit file to give me colours and so on.but have never compiled my own oscam or try simplebuild.
i will look at information you sent me and see how i get on.if i dont have anyluck would you mind if i contact you again.thanks again
