which dual tuner receiver is best

wouldn't bother with the Alien, not a bad box for price but enigma side is a bit disappointing. the Spark side has epg but not very good compared to the Vix image. I have one and have since bought a VU solo2 and the difference is massive. I know that is not within your price range but other vu boxes/gigablue/and Venton may be worth a look

i got an uno with twin tuner. brilliant with blackhole and oscam to serve but again out of the range. buy one of those venton boxes and let us know what its like. i was looking at them

Venton receivers are good and available from the forum sponsor also... tuners do run a little hot but they do the job well and have quite good support..i tested egami images on them which basically did everything i expected.

A very good model that seems to get overlooked is the VU+ Uno with Twin Tuner module. We're currently running a special @ £259, bit over your budget, but superb reliable piece of kit.

Yes VU+ Duo is still an excellent unit, with 500GB HDD £299.
