Firmware reset

How can I force a firmware reset ? the purpose is to reload the clean satellites/channels list !!!

The problem is not to upgrade the existing image version !!!
The upgrade operation does not suppersede the existing user settings !!!
My problem is this ... installing some settings from the download server
the default settings was corrupted so I need to restore the originals !!!
usualy in Enigma2 this is done by "firmware reset" .
