    Hi all. I have been given from my dad a dreambox 800 hd pvr original.He has said its broke but im not to sure. when i plugged it all in all i get on the screen is nablosat HD and it wont do anything else after that. I have heard people saying you need to flash a new image to the box but i am really new to all of this. Can anybody point me in the right direction and let me no what the best image to flash is if that is the problem. Thanks to all in advance

    well u have to flash a new image.
    there are many threads around for this.
    but if u are really new to this, well its a quiet time consuming....:Linuxsat frog:
    not sure if a broken (stock) dm800 is worth the afford
    if you are boared, .....:sad:
    just to watch sat on cs there are cheap and easy setup boxes around like ***boxes f3,5 etc
    to reflash your dm800 you need a new image for the box
    should be here on board
    several methods to reflash a stock box
    webbrowser if you can get the box ip
    dreamup maybe patched version to flash over serial cable
    tuts are around for this in dreambox section
