ubuntu server security

    Hi All,
    Built a server with great help from this site about 18 months ago. I am a complete novice so need once again to seek help from fellow members. Another server which was built by a third party is suffering from what I am told is a 'double login'. It has been suggested that I check the security on the server. Can it be possible that someone can have a sort of back door entry into the server although only I know the passwords etc. Is there any way of checking if it has been compromised.

    Its far more likely to be your cam check scripts... I have noticed over the last few weeks that when I restart latest SVN oscam from the webif there is a second instance starting...
    I reported this on streamboard but no updates yet...


    Assuming its oscam, Have you checked how many instances are running?
