no mention of it being a linux receiver buddy or and card slots to actually read your local . Would steer clear and stick with a documented linux receiver for benefits of ongoing support etc

Seen it before,reminds me of a spider box (remote is the exact same)...
Openbox would be a safer and cheaper buy.

if you all ready have a dm800 up and running as a server the HD pvr isn't a bad option! Give it a cline to your dm800 and your good to go! I do the exact same thing! Openbox on big TV downstairs because i think the HD is alot better than the dm800!
Works a treat! Just don't keep updating the firmware like most do! Find one that's stable and stick with it! -
