My mate lives in Belfast (east)
He is interested in the possiblilty of either 7w or 26e for JSC HD
Would he need a 2.4m or 3m dish for these

I'm in Belfast with a 2.2M dish. I can receive 7W (MENA footprint http://www.eutelsat.com/en/sat…WA-downlink-coverage.html) and also 26E (BADR 4 http://www.arabsat.com/pages/Satellite.aspx?sid=36&pid=120).. but I guess a 2.4M and the 3.0M will get stronger signals and access to other footprints??
PM me for advice on a local installer if you wish?

haha, probably would be, but my mate is a real enthusiast and has wanted a large dish for some time
he just wants clarification from someone in the know on the island as to which size he will need
