  • Hi Guys

I am using vu solo blackhole 2.0.3 version , I am able to set up the external hdd and able to record and timeshift however every time I switch on I need to initialize the Hard Disk again.

I read a post in another forum, saying that I should try this:
    1. hit blue --> blue --> Devices Manager --> red (Mountpoints) and make sure it is mounted to /media/hdd
    2. hit red to save and then restart!

The problem here is that my hard disk does not show under device manager.

However, after I reboot and lose the initialization, the hard disk DOES appear in the device manager and this time I can go ahead and do the mounting. But after the reboot the same problem persists.

Can you please help me what causing this ? I am going crazy over this and I cant get to resolve it :(

  • Are you turning your solo off completely when not in use?? this could be the problem, mount the external HDD again and leave the solo in stand-by when your not using it. Then see if the same problem occurs...
