Okay i think i have corrupted the boot system on my xpeed lx2.....
I cant flash it with any base firmware / backup or even a boot loader.
I have tried 4 usb sticks reformatted to fat32 (they normally all work fine)
When trying to flash the box i normally place the stick in the rear usb port and press the channel up button when turning on. I have also tried renaming the "noforce" file to "force" on a few images and it still wont flash.....:06:

    Anyone any idea's??
Can anything be done with telnet or filezila??

any help or sugestion please guys??

  • win7 can do some prb if you use that os on your mashine for formating
you must have xpeedlx folder on usb root, and in that folder put image ( 5 files you most have ) noforce file rename in force, after that flashing most start after you put on resiver on switch

  • Hi there? did u manage 2 sort out this issue as I hv been having the same...cnt seem to be able 2 flash any image on it. thnx

Yes had to format the nand chip of the box.....Had 2 bad sectors due to a bad flash....Not for the faint of heart.
If it is a newish box return to the supplier for repair.

Have you flashed the required boot loader?? search on the openATV forum if not......
