uk EPG on dreamboxes - how does it work

hello, i wish somebody can explane a bit how EPG on dreamboxes works.
i tried so many addons and images, but can´t make it really working.

there might be more people out there they have troubles to set this up or understand how this works.
it starts, i can´t get it on my dream.
of course i find the epg set up, configurations and all this, but is not loading down anything. allways the current and the next program.
thats it.

i tried to install cool tv guide, but no way to find it on my dream.
(press info for long, but there is no cooltv anything)

is it right EPG has to be downloaded from a webpage, or from a sat channel like hip-hop for example.

can somebody explane a bit please.

i am using 4ReacktX VJ HD (release 3.0.2 201-03-09)
i really do like this image, but have no problem to flash another one.
ther are epg setup included but not coming up.
by the way, i just found cooltv, after i rebootet the box (800hd clon)
looks good design but no more EPG coming down either.
don´t know if this might be as well from my small dish, i am not getting all the channels anyway.
so i think, if it comes over a channel (hip-hop?) maybe this is the problem.
