My mate has a new S*y HD box and wants to watch in another room ??

    My Mate has brand new s*y HD Box i fitted it for him, his original set up was an older sd *** box which had the rf in and out connections, obviously as most of you know the newer HD box has no rf in or rf out conections at rear so i have bought what i bought for my vu duo + which was a modulator from maplins, but what he also wants is a magic eye connector.


    He orignally had an sd box downstairs and has a booster behind tv that feeds a further 3 tvs round house hence why he wants magic eye so he can take s*y remote upstairs and watch s*y box on tv in bedroom.


    I know how to wire up to modulator as have already done so for my own set up where would i connect magic eye as i have never used one of these ??

    I buy mine from a company i get most of my sat equipment from at a much lower price but you might find them cheaper via searching...its a pity you have already wasted money on a modulator without doing some research or asking on here!


    Modulators only transmit rf signals...what your mate needs is something that will send the voltage required to power a tv link which standard modulators do not do.

    The sly I/o link is a waste of time. Picture quality is poor and doesn't provide enough power to work an rf2 powered amp, so magic eyes don't work.
    Google it, plenty of people complaining about them.

    You might be best to continue pressing buttons as you are talking nonsense...I/O links work fine and i am afraid you have wandered a bit there...who here is talking about powering amplifiers???
