  • hello comis
    try to get this sorted.
    i am setting up a oscam server (oscam reader - cccam server)

    i tested and it works fine.
    now the only thing is i can´t get into the oscam webif.

    when i tested in my house, i had access to webif. but the server will be on another place, in a friends house
    where the internet speed is much better.
    and in my friends house i can´t get into webif.

    because i put the server on a static ip, it looks like this.
    server ip : 17x.1x.25x.9x ( can´t show my total ip) (but you see, there are not very comon numbers)
    subnet 24

    if i see my oscam.cofig

    [webif]
    httpport = 8888
    httpuser = admin
    httppwd = admin
    httpallowed = 127.0.0.1,192.168.0.0-192.168.255.255 ¿might my ip not be in the range?

    any idea why i can´t get into my webif?
    thanks for any help

  • thanks m8
    i will try this tomorrow, but i want to see my webif as well fom remote pc or blackberry. or is this only intern.
    thing is we don´t use a router, we hook it direct to internet, my friend is a internet provider, he is a good man, but doesnt work with oscam or dreamboxes. he gave me a very good place to put my server.

    of course i will change the webif passwd, we are just testing.
    will have a go tomorrow
    thanks

  • thanks and the problem is solved.
    i put httpallowed right, this was one thing.
    there was another problem, i had the oscam server config wrong spellt.
    i renamed the folder "oscam server config" instead of "oscam server conf"

    so nothing was working at all.
    now it runs smoooooth, thats what we want.
    thanks for your help,
    linux support is Nº 1
    hasta luego
