Saving and Restoring Channel lists

    Can anyone tell me please how to Save and restore channel lists:
    I think to save, tools menu/Upgrade by USB and choose " save channel list " must be correct, it creates a ch_list_20140110.bin file on the USB stick.


    But having then deleted the channels and favourites I stored to make the test, how do you restore them?


    tools menu/Upgrade by USB choose which option: HS17, maincode,radioback, ARIVA102E,default db, userdb,seecode, seeback, data1 & data2
    ( what are all these options for? )
    none of these seem to work, default db looks like it is loading. but on finishing, there are still no channels ?

    Normally to save list , i choose "dump".
    That creates a dumpfile/backup.abs file on usb stick.


    Then to upload again, i choose "userdb".
    Don't think you should try to load list from one model to a different model (ie from 102e to 202e) as this could give you ASH error on receiver and you'll then need rs232 null modem cable to recover the box.
