Deleted skin, boots but no menus. can still ftp!

As title says i can still use ftp so i am hoping i can just place the skin back in from someones back up. Could anyone help me find the location i need to place it and also find the file location? or have i bricked my solo 2. I'm running vix v3. Thanks in advance.

Which image?
What did you delete, the default skin folder?

Vix v3.0 for solo 2. i was in the menu removing mymetrix hd and deleted it from there i have no skins installed now, i was trying to reinstall it and removed night *** skin (default).

I have a backup of that image and can upload the skin for you if you like.

that would be great. i have tried to reinstall vix but it hangs up in boot screen so not sure a standard back up would work but will give it a try. do you have access to the files as in ftp format if that makes sense, so i could copy them over in ftp?

Yes that was what I was thinking also. I will post them up to my site and then PM you a link but am now a bit worried because I seem to remember ViX backups being pretty flaky which is why I switched to using VTi. Anyway, give me 5 minutes and I'll PM you.

No luck mate, thanks for your efforts though. i cant even find the boot loader for solo 2 if there is one to reflash :/ getting worried.
