yo lad i have just gone to put my channels info in my sever and its now saying this in Dcc.
Error 10057 in function send socket is not connected,It was ok this morning and i have taken a look at the box and nothings changed and i havent change anything,i can connect to the box with css but not with Dcc,
Any idears why this as started to happen.

You will get this error if the ip address, username or password is incorrect.
i know mate but they are all fine
Try using a differant FTP client like filezilla to see if its only a problem with DCC..

carn't connect with anything so i tryed again with dcc to connect to my vu+ and its connects ok so it must be the box But everything is the same as its always bin

Are you trying to connect with dreambox control center ? If so you connect over the network, not a direct connection with a serial cable.. Have you checked the ip address is correct ? Click the search tab in DCC to scan the network for the correct ip..
