  • You can create your own Iptv list by doing the following
    1.Create a new .txt file.
    2.Rename it to .m3u
    3.Open it with Notepad
    4.Type #EXTM3U at the top
5.Add your streams. For example.Don't put the - 's in http.I've put them in to avoid a live link.

    #EXTINF:-1,RUS – EUROSPORT
    h-t-t-p://212.33.237.113:8038
    #EXTINF:-1,RUS – EUROSPORT 2
    h-t-t-p://212.33.237.113:8062

6.Once you've added all you want to then Save
7.Put file on to USB stick and put in USB slot in receiver.
8.Go to Menu, External Device, File Manager..Select the .m3u file and press OK on remote.

Your streams cannot be in rtmp or rtsp format.
    Hope that helps.

Haven't got an Alien 2.Probably not possible unless you can extract the http link and somehow get it to play.
I have managed to do that on some streams with my DrHD D15 box.
I usually use SimpleTV on the PC to play rtmp or rtsp links. It's easier and quicker than fiddling about!

  • why cant streams be in rtmp or rtsp?
