i am having all sort of problem with omnikey on my ubuntu 10.04 with sly card.can you please tell me the right process plz so it can work.i did try to do in terminal lsusb and then add that device id in oscam.server but it keep showing device not found.
I had similar problems, i even reinstalled Debian thinking it was a Ubuntu issue then eventually figured it out.

When you reach this step
There look next lines:
# if you need to pass arguments to pcscd you should edit the file

And please change it to:

and these error i am having in the end of status page.

Look at oscam webinfo readers/edit reader, do you have Force Irdeto enabled by any chance, my oscam version is also very recent but do not get this error.
It looks like the oscam.ird file is not in your config. Extract then FTP the attached file and restart oscam to see if you get the same error.

also i need to ask you as i heard that oscan binery update every day, in that case do i need to update,s well?
i must need to tell youmy other server which are with smargo. in conf folder all i have 3 files and i d,nt have these type of error there. realy d,nt understand so far.
Open it & look its not difficult.

oscam.ird is an Irdeto guessing table for OSCam, as you are using nds you have no need to edit this file. If you find an oscam binary that works for you then stick with it, no need to keep updating to the latest version, unless the update has something specific to offer your card. Everything else in your config looks good, if you need more info let us know otherwise we can close this thread..
