  • Hi Everyone

Anyone can help on how to add a transponder on the VU+DUO .. I have the latest VTI image

    regards

    Andrew

I did a scan but its seems that loads of channels are missing ( 28.2 east ) , that's why I was wondering if someone can show me how to do it manually

  • It would be a lot easier for you just to install a ready made channel list buddy, one for a motorised setup...

Install our addons plugin, available here: Linuxsat-Support-Addons Plugin

Once you that installed you can add a channel list straight to your box, catseye is very good for motorised settings.

Before you try to scan any satellite upload the latest satellites.xml file to the receiver..

Scanning for channels with an old satellites.xml will not find the latest transponder frequencies.. Find the latest transponder frequencies at KingOfSat.com..

FTP the satellites.xml to /etc/tuxbox > Reboot receiver, then try to manually scan the satellite or transponder..

There are other easier options to keep channels updated.. Autobouquets plugin and uploading an Enigma2 Channel List.. Both take seconds to load instead of rescanning the whole satellite..

  • Thank you mate but the problem that am having is when am trying the satellite.xml .. its telling me wrong code entered despite putting the right code.
