  • Hi All!
Some days ago a polish friend brought me a new nBox5800BSKA, and i would say it's great value for money. But something doesn't work like it should/i think.
@ first: the box came with Freebox-bootloader and Enigma2-7.1.6 or so. Network, FTP and so on works and i could take my channel list on it with DreamboxEdit. And now the problems:
    1) I can't "shut down" the box. Standby is possible, but if I want to shutdown the box hangs up and nothing works. I have to disconnect the power and when i reconnect it then it boots verry well. Maybe this is a problem with the hardware?
    2) Seems like the "long press a button" not works?
    3) I can't use a PKT Nebula or Hyperion image. Changed the bootloader to multiboot with this file http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=41357, there i used "uboot FST A0100000". Then I can choose bt4 in boot menu. If I change to bt4 and go there in boot menu to "update" the installation of the PKT image seems to go on until ok, but after reboot at the display is witten "n-fb" and everything stopps. I tryed this image http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=38595 and this one http://linuxsat-support.com/showthread.php?t=27066. Booth with the update file on the stick.
Now I installed Enigma2-7.1.7 with Freebox and it works, but shutdown is still wrong.

    PS: sorry for my english!

  • OK, I just flashed the Enigma2-image again and now all things works fine, also the display. The box stands at my brothers home, so I'll try the PKT-image another time.
