I have just received an octogon sf8hd from WOS.It has been flashed with latest vix image.What do i do next to get footie etc.I am the newest newbee of all newbies and haven't a clue where to start.Can someone guide me through the process please.Are there any basic tutorials i can browse.Thanks

you need a active 5ky subscription card ( the white ones ) or a share from one from a friend. The blue house cards are as pointed out above obsolete.
you wont get any thing for nothing in this hobby no matter what your told by your mates down the pub.
I'm not looking to get something for nothing.I don't mind paying for a service but i don't want to get ripped off by paying £700 a year to you know who!!!
what u need is a satellite sub to share u can buy any mostly from around europe and u then say to me hey do fancy sharing my sub and i can share yours .so first and foremost thats what u need to start this hobby we dont support payservers on this site .However if u want to do this as a hobby then there is loads of support .what u need to decide is are u going to buy a sub even a cheap porn card to start with or just give your money to the local con man.
