As the title suggests i am wondering if oscam will update the entitlements on a new debian server we have built. The card is canalDigital ( CAID 0b00 ) and its being read with Omnikey, but then shared with CCCam. Anyone managed this ??
will oscam update entitlements for CAID 0b00 with Debian and Omnikey reader

I helped setup one of these conax cards yesterday and when the boxkey was added it worked perfect. Not sure how often it gets entitlements but im pretty sure you could use Mgcamd if oscam didnt get the updates on is own. Maybe someone else could help clarify this for you buddy.

Well we are setting this up for someone, and i have not been given any box serial numbers to make the boxkey. He was running this card in a DM800s clone, and all he was using was CCCam, and i assume the entitlements were got that way. I also cannot imagine this person doing a box key conversion. I have been reading up on mgcamd, do not really understand it yet tbh

You will need the boxkey as this guys card wouldnt work without it in oscam. If you wanted i could do an oscam+Mgcamd config for you if that helps any.

That will be great.... we can try it tomorrow...do these cards provide the boxkey withing the log file, or do we 100% need a legit box to pair the card to ?

Not sure how your gonna get that boxkey m8 tbh. I will sort that config for you tomorrow, hopefully you will get it sorted buddy..

Thanks for that ......one thing i have just noticed when i log into the oscam GUI, is that if i check out the cards entitlements i get some additional info across the screen....I get Serial : ########## and then i get hex serial : ########. Now i wonder if that give me anything to play with ??

You may be in luck then, let us know if it works. Good luck..
